ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Harwin Research and Development Pty Ltd (Herein referred to as Harwin) is an Australian Veteran Owned R&D Company with a focus on developing sovereign Defence Capability. Harwin developed from the collaboration of like-minded, passionate professionals with expertise in the delivery of Defence Capability Projects, Science and Technology support, and Engineering Design. These skills sets are combined with a unique understanding of the demands of the Defence operating environment through ADF Operational Service.
Harwin is committed to the development of true sovereign capability with all design and development activities undertaken locally. Additionally, Harwin has committed to supporting Australian manufacturing and will develop products and service offerings using in-house capability and local suppliers.

PROJECTS
SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND
Force Projection
Harwin R&D is part of a consortium currently working on a Defence Innovation Project working collaboratively with Special Operations Command (SOCOMD) to enhance force projection and situational awareness so that Special Operations Force Elements are better enabled for future threats.
The project contributes to the following Defence Innovation Hub priorities:
Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance; and
Land Combat and Amphibious Warfare stream.

The Australian Military-XT Series of power inverters have been designed from the ground up specifically to meet the current and future exportable power needs for land based defence vehicles.
Our 28VDC/230VAC Puresine inverters are ruggedised, GVA compliant, IP66, and designed to withstand the toughest of environmental conditions while meeting MIL-STD 461F & MIL-STD 810F.
